Code of Conduct
Below is our code of conduct that needs to be signed by both parent and athlete before they are able to participate with West Cheer. Please let your coaches know if there are any questions.

Physicals, Tryout Registration & APP Test Registration
PHYSICALSAthletes must have a valid physical at the time of tryouts. If you are unsure if your physical is still in good standing, please contact a coach or the athletic department. Physicals updates will be included in the registration process.
The following options are available if your son or daughter wants to participate on an athletic team: 1. Obtain a physical at the school. 2. Your child may get a sport physical by their private physician. The physical MUST be completed on the Health Appraisal physical form. If you choose to have the physical done by your private physician or HealthWorks, the completed physical form MUST be delivered prior to the start of practice to the school nurse (during the school year) or Athletic office (during the summer). TRYOUT REGISTRATIONThe online registration process MUST BE COMPLETED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN THROUGH PARENT PORTAL. REGISTRATION IS OPEN TBA Please note: Families with multiple students must complete an online registration form for each of their students.
1. Please complete the registration for athletics. PARENT PORTAL LINK 2. Please ensure the parent/guardian and emergency contact information is accurate. NO athlete will be able to tryout if they are not registered by TBA APP TEST-7th and 8th graders ONLYAll 7th/8th graders must pass the APP test before the are eligible to try out. Athletes must complete the following:
Step 1: Request/Permission form submitted to the Director of Athletics) DUE TBA Step 2: Medical Clearance - A valid physical with Tanner level must be submitted to the district. This must be completed BEFORE the physical fitness portion of the process. (attachment below) Step 3: Physical Fitness Testing (set up by appointment only).
